CCM’s new AXIS 1.9 mask comes in to replace the L1.9 of last year. With much improved technology inside the carbon reinforced fiberglass shell, the AXIS A1.9 mask is class leading in protection and durability while also being tremendously lightweight.

Shell
The shell of the CCM AXIS 1.9 mask is made out of fiberglass with carbon fiber reinforcements. This build results in the mask being extremely lightweight, strong, and resilient while also including enhanced impact protection in the chin and forehead.

Liner
What’s the point of having an esthetically pleasing hard shell if the padding inside isn't capable of dispersing the shock of impact. The liner of the CCM AXIS A1.9 contains I.Q.SHION Gel which is a memory foam comfort liner with smooth contoured edges to maximum impact protection. In addition to that, CCM’s D30 Smart Material is used to dissipate impact energy in key areas.

Cage
The cage included on the CCM AXIS 1.9 goalie mask is a stainless straight flat bar cage. Non certified cat-eye and certified cat-eye options are available separately.

Chin Cup
The chin cup in the CCM AXIS 1.9 mask is a triple density foam with D30 technology to help with impact absorption and comfort.

Sweatband
The CCM AXIS mask features a mesh sweatband for maximum absorption and sweat wicking.

Certification
The CCM AXIS comes with CSA, HECC, and CE certifications making the mask suitable for play in both Canada and the USA.

Sizes & Colors
The CCM AXIS mask will come in four different sizes ensuring the right fit for each individual. It will be available in extra small, small, medium, and large. All four sizes will be offered in white and black.
