The Pelican 1740 Long Case is made of durable polypropylene, with double throw ABS latches, stainless steel pins, and two automatic pressure equalization valves to balance the interior pressure while keeping the water out.  The polymer o-ring provides a water resistant seal.

This case includes polyurethane wheels, with stainless steel bearings, and rugged doublewide handles to make transporting it a cinch.  It also has extra deep base-to-lid locking cleats to allowing these cases maximum stacking stability.

This case is designed to make it easy for one person to move long gear, like a telescope, jack hammer, chainsaw, rifles, lights and tripods.
